Q: Does Casto Travel Philippines have its own training department?

Yes, we have trainers for each of the major Global Distribution System (GDS): Sabre, Apollo, and Amadeus.

Q: Do you provide training for our agents?

Yes, our offering includes the following training:

  • New Hire Training
    A comprehensive training curriculum to prepare travel agent for their roles.

  • Update and Upskill Training
    To stay true to our continuous improvement and to make sure that our agents are updated with the latest knowledge and skills.

  • Developmental Training
    We make sure that our agents are not just updated with the trends within the travel industry, we also cover soft skills to make interactions with them exceptional.

  • Leadership Training
    We believe that people aspiring to become leaders are also developed. That is why we offer training such us coaching and feedback giving to our people to make sure we take care of our most valuable asset, our agents.

Yes, our operations are PCI DSS Compliant and working on ISO 27001 certification within the year.

Q: Do you provide regular security training for employees?

Yes, new employees go through security training at orientation, and existing employees receive ongoing refresher training.

Q: How do you ensure that the information we store at your facilities is safe?

We use industry standard encryption (full disk encryption, endpoint encryption, email encryption) and have partnered with an endpoint security management service (recognized by Gartner in endpoint security management) to ensure that the data we store is safe. We also have redundancy (via multiple telco providers and failover to the backup site), firewalls (recognized by Gartner as a top brand for network perimeters), and 24/7 service coverage across time zones.
